Guide Dementia Training part 2 is committed to educating healthcare professionals about in-depth dementia care. Our curriculum focuses on caring for people living with dementia and their family/friend care partner(s) across different healthcare settings. After completing Guide Dementia Training, learners will understand healthcare roles and develop the skills to identify and evaluate cognitive, behavioral, emotional, spiritual, and physical challenges; evaluate health-related social needs; and evaluate whether their health system is able to treat dementia well. Guide Dementia Training offers a foundational, structured, in-depth overview of how to evaluate and address conditions that occur together (comorbidities), establish a strong relationship with people living with dementia, and establish care plans.  After finishing the modules you will have a live session to discuss training others on what you have learned.

After completing this video section, learners will schedule a live Zoom session with Dr. Brian Browne for case study review and final train-the-trainer instructions.  This will satisfy the GUIDE requirements for training.
